Somatic Tools for Self Tapes
Los Angeles — March 20 | 11am–5pm
Self-tapes and on-set work demand a lot from actors: focus, emotional access, and the ability to do your best work under pressure.
This one-day workshop introduces a dependable, body-based process to help you get out of your head and into your instincts—so your work can be freer, braver, and more alive on camera.
Actors will apply the tools directly to real material (audition sides or film/TV scenes) and work on camera in front of the group, connecting the practice to real-world audition and production circumstances.
If you're looking to shed habits that block your instincts and reconnect with your most alive, responsive actor self, this workshop is for you.
Designed for actors who are actively auditioning or working in film and television.
Led by award-winning director and acting teacher Ellie Heyman, whose work bridges somatic acting practice with real world circumstances.
Space is limited to keep the room focused and personal.
